What are Vessela products made from?
Every Vessela piece is 3D printed to order in our Wollongong studio from plant-based PLA — a renewable, low-waste material made from plant starches rather than petroleum. The result is a soft, layered texture that’s unique to 3D printing.
Can I plant directly into a Vessela planter?
Yes. Add a free drainage hole at checkout for direct planting, or keep your planter sealed and use the matching self-watering insert. We recommend not leaving water sitting in a sealed pot for long periods.
Are the planters and vases waterproof?
Our vases are printed to hold water for fresh flowers, straight out of the box. Planters can be ordered with or without a drainage hole — choose the option that suits how you’ll use it.
Can I use Vessela pieces outdoors?
They’re designed for indoor use. PLA is a plant-based material that can soften in extreme heat or prolonged direct sunlight, so we recommend keeping pieces indoors or in a shaded, sheltered spot.
How do I care for and clean my Vessela piece?
Simply wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid the dishwasher, microwave, and prolonged direct heat or sunlight to keep the finish and colour looking their best.
How do I choose the right size?
Planter sizes refer to the overall diameter in millimetres (for example, 120mm). Each product page includes a size guide to help you match the pot to your plant, or the vase to your space.
How long until my order ships?
Because each piece is made to order, please allow around 4–5 business days for printing and packing before dispatch. Pieces in our Ready-to-Ship range are already printed and dispatch the next business day.
What colours are available, and can I request a custom colour?
Every design comes in our full palette of 27+ colours — from quiet neutrals and Morandi tones to bold brights. If you have a specific colour in mind that you don’t see, get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
What is your returns policy?
We stand behind every piece with our 30-Day Happiness Guarantee. If something isn’t right, contact us within 30 days and we’ll make it right. As pieces are made to order, please see our Refund Policy for full details.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship from Australia to customers around the world. Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.
